There are multiple factors that contribute to how long a meal will be safe to consume. Some ingredients naturally hold up better than others and different packaging methods affect how long a meal will last. As such, you should consume salads with leafy greens earlier, while our extended fresh meals with film seals will last longer in the fridge.
If you’re still unsure, we include an eat by date on every meal label. The eat by date is the last day the meal can be eaten or frozen on. (For previously frozen meals there is not a specific date, but rather guidance to refreeze upon receipt or consume within 6 days of delivery.)
